If you want the on-call modifications permitted in your website package, then you must purchase a maintenance plan. This is not required, but understand that no maintenance equals no updates to your website. This also means that, should you choose to self-host your website, you are solely responsible for maintenance.
Furthermore, due to the nature of the two higher-tier website packages, the Standard and Premium packages must be paired with the Standard Maintenance Package.
